American actor and rapper Earl Simmons, born December 18, 1970, and passed away April 9 2021. The rapper began rapping in early 1990s . He released his debut album It's dark and Hell is Hot in 1998, to the delight of critics and commercial success, selling 251,000 copies within its first week of release. In 1999, DMX released... and then There Was X. The album featured the hit song "Party up (Up in Here). His singles from 2003 "Where is the Hood At?" The 2003 singles, "Where the Hood at?" and "X Gon' Make It To Ya" were commercially successful. Also, he was the first artist who reached No.1 on the Billboard 200 chart five consecutive times. Seven times DMX has sold over 74,000,000 records across the globe. [8] DMX was featured in movies such as Belly Romeo Must Die (with Exit Wounds), Belly, Romeo Must Die (with Belly), Cradle 2 the Grave (with Cradle 2 the Grave) and Last Hour. He appeared as DMX: Soul of a Man in 2006's reality TV show. It was broadcast through the BET cable television network Never Die Alone.
