Kari Samantha (born April 28th, 1967) Wuhrer is an American singer and actress. Wuhrer started her career when she was just a teen. Her most well-known role is for her character Maggie Beckett on the TV series Sliders and also her role as her character, Sheriff Samantha Parker, in the horror comedy film Eight Legged Freaks. Wuhrer was raised at Brookfield Connecticut as the daughter of Karin Noble and worked as a payroll clerk, and German American Andrew Wuhrer. The youngest of three siblings. The singer was in her teens who was a regular in the clubs and hid from home to do so.
