Alison Krauss

Alison Krauss was born July 23, 1971, in Decatur, Illinois. She and LeAnnekymes were among the youngest Grammy Award winners. Alison Maria Krauss is an American singer-songwriter and bluegrass country musician. She was born on the 23rd of July 1971. Alison Maria Krauss started her career in music early she was winning competitions in her local area at the age of 10. Her first recording was her first album at fourteen. In 1985, she joined Rounder Records and in 1987 came out with her debut album. The album was also a part of the band Alison Krauss Union Station where she is still performing. In 1989, she released her first solo album her debut solo album came out in conjunction with the band.
